Overview
The control card is the brain of a fiber laser. It sends current setpoints to the laser driver card, monitors optical power through photodiodes, and manages safety interlocks and the laser's ready and emission states. Built around an ARM Cortex-M4 microcontroller and powered from 24 VDC.

What it does
Power setpoints
Sends current setpoints to the laser driver card for stable, repeatable output power.
Optical monitoring
Two photodiode inputs for laser output monitoring and four NTC inputs for temperature supervision.
Safety & state management
Interlocks and a defined ready-to-emission sequence for safe operation.
Machine interface
Galvanically isolated CAN-BUS, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 and Ethernet, plus 10 digital inputs, 10 digital outputs, 2 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs (0–10 V).
